Hello!
My name is Jamie Stewart. I live in the beautiful state of Colorado and have been married to my wonderful husband, Andy, since 2012. Together, we have three incredible children—our firstborn, Logan, his little brother, Sullivan, and our youngest, Emersyn Grace. My faith and my family are the cornerstones of my world and the driving force behind who I am and everything I do.
I am the co-founder and executive director of the nonprofit Walk With Me (WWM), which has a two-fold mission. One, we provide long-term grief support to local families walking through the death of a baby late in utero or shortly after birth. Two, and through the creation of Walk With Me University, we provide comprehensive bereavement training to medical professionals nation-wide. This was certainly not a career path I would have picked in my youth, but life has a way of shifting our priorities, the lens we see the world through, and ultimately, our trajectory. Because of my personal story of loss, I feel called to serve the loss-community and consider it an honor to be invited into some of the most intimate and sacred parts of life.
Writing brings me immense joy. It has gotten me through the darkest of times and provided a lifeline when I needed it most. If I had my way, I would spend my workdays nestled under a pile of blankets on my couch, with a piping hot cup of coffee beside me and a manuscript in progress on my lap. That's not the phase I am in (right now, at least) but hey, a girl can dream...
My 2022 memoir, Walk With Me: A Journey Through Infant Loss, Grief & Hope, offers a transparent look into my journey of love, loss, and faith after the death of my son Logan in 2012.
My 2024 children’s book, No Ordinary Heart: An Adventure of God’s Endless Love, takes young readers on a journey through the creation of an extraordinary heart, and God’s journey to find a child of equal magnificence to give it to.
I am currently working on a new book to help loss-families pray through new pregnancies after experiencing loss. Pregnancy after loss (PAL) is a mixture of hope and fear, sorrow and joy, and just about every other emotion you can imagine. From personal experience I understand the difficulty of the season, and I want to help loss-families navigate it as gracefully as possible. While I am diligently working on the manuscript, I don’t expect it to be released until 2026.

Walk With Me: A Journey Through Infant Loss, Grief & Hope
So much of what happens in the mind of a bereaved parent is kept quiet and left in the dark-almost as if it should be hidden. In Walk With Me, Jamie Stewart, who lost her son after birth in 2012, holds absolutely nothing back. In order to help others on their loss journey, Jamie openly shares hers. Some roads in life are meant for solo exploration, and some should never be walked alone. The death of a baby is one such road. If you have experienced pregnancy or infant loss (or love someone who has), this book will hold your hand through the seemingly uncharted road of child loss. It will affirm many of the challenges loss-parents face, clarify what loss-parents need (and do not need), and deconstruct the backward way our culture handles grief and those in its grip.
No Ordinary Heart: An Adventure of God’s Endless Love
No Ordinary Heart invites young readers on a journey through the magnitude of God's boundless love. As they turn each page, children will discover that God endured challenge after challenge and went to the ends of the earth JUST to show His love to them. Throughout this story, children will learn about the extraordinary value they hold, the divine craftsmanship that makes them unique, and the strength found within their hearts to change the world. Through vibrant illustrations and heartfelt storytelling, this story explores all the ways God helps us realize how special our hearts are and how they were made to be perfectly ours.
